2020 Father’s Day Scramble

First of all, we had a great day of fun, family and food, Sunday June 21st at The LYNX.  Eight families, plus others who didn’t register for the golf outing had a wonderful day.  Two teams of note: Here Fore Beer (56) 18-hole Division winner and The Frank’s (33), 9-hole Division were the scoring leaders for the day.  All participants were treated to an enjoyable day of golf.

The notable fireworks of the day happened with one of the rarest shots in golf; an Albatross-a hole-in-one on a Par 4.  The odds of an albatross are 6 million to 1.   Jeremy “Skipper” Taylor aced the 16th hole with a mighty blast of over 320 yards, uphill.  “Skipper”, +1 handicapper, is a member of the Arizona State University Golf Team. He stated “this is one of the best courses in Michigan.”  We think so too and we’re thankful he chose the LYNX to hit a shot of a lifetime.
