Course Information

Where is The LYNX Golf Course located?

We are located in Otsego, MI just a minute drive from US-131, conveniently accessible from Grand Rapids, Holland, and Kalamazoo.

Is The LYNX open to the public?

Yes. The LYNX is a public 18-hole golf course open to all golfers.

What makes The LYNX unique?

The course features dramatic elevation changes, river views, and a peaceful “up-north” feel—without the long drive.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes. Seasonal memberships are available with options for individuals, couples, and families.

What are your hours of operation?

Hours vary by season. During summer, we typically operate from sunrise to sunset.

Tee Times & Booking

How do I book a tee time?

Tee times can be booked online or by calling the clubhouse.

How far in advance can I reserve?

Tee times are available up to 14 days in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations or changes should be made at least 24 hours before your tee time.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes—walk-ins are accepted when tee time availability allows.

Can I book a group or outing?

Absolutely. We welcome group reservations, charity outings, and corporate events.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes — junior, senior, and replay rates are offered when applicable.

Are carts included with greens fees?

Carts are included when paying your green fee.

Yes. We offer riding carts.

Can I rent clubs?

Yes. Club rentals are available in the pro shop.

Yes—gift cards can be purchased in any amount.

Do you offer club fitting?

Club fitting may be available by appointment.

Does The LYNX have a restaurant?

Yes. The Grill serves lunch, dinner, and drinks with beautiful course views.

Is the restaurant open to non-golfers?

Yes—everyone is welcome to dine at The Grill.

Do you host weddings and receptions?

Yes. We offer indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for weddings, receptions, and celebrations.

Can I host a corporate meeting or private party?

Yes. We provide flexible spaces and custom catering for events of all sizes.

Do you offer catering?

Yes—banquet and event catering is available.

Is it a good place to host a Bachelor party?

Leagues, Lessons & Programs

Do you offer golf lessons?

Yes. Private and group lessons are available for all skill levels.

Are junior programs offered?

Yes—seasonal clinics and youth golf programs run throughout the summer.

Does The LYNX have leagues?

Yes—men’s, women’s, and mixed leagues are offered during the season.

Do you host tournaments or scrambles?

Yes—we host public events, scrambles, charity outings, and special tournaments.

Policies

What is the dress code?

Golf-appropriate attire is requested. Collared shirts are recommended.

Is outside food or alcohol allowed?

Outside alcohol is not permitted on the property.

Are pets allowed on the course?

Pets are not permitted on the golf course.

Do you allow fivesomes?

To keep pace of play enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask that groups be limited to foursomes. Thank you for understanding!

What is your rain check policy?

Rain checks are issued based on the number of holes completed.
